DeliveryOps Platform

DeliveryOps was built for a fast-growing logistics startup in Greater Cairo that was managing 300+ daily deliveries through WhatsApp and phone calls. They needed a real system before scaling further.

The platform has three layers. The Dispatcher Dashboard is a web application where the operations team assigns orders to drivers, monitors live GPS positions on a map, and handles exceptions like failed deliveries or customer rescheduling. Routes are optimized automatically based on driver location and delivery zone.

The Driver App runs on Android and iOS. Drivers receive their assigned order list, get turn-by-turn directions via integrated maps, confirm deliveries with a photo or customer signature, and report issues directly through the app. The app works in low-connectivity areas by queuing status updates and syncing when signal is restored.

The Customer Notification Layer sends automated SMS and WhatsApp messages at each delivery milestone: order confirmed, driver en route, arrived at door, and delivered. Customers can also use a tracking link to follow their order on a live map.

Since deployment, the startup reduced failed delivery attempts by 42% and cut dispatcher headcount needs by half.
